Baby doll - a short negligee or nightgown consisting of formed cups and a loose fitting skirt, meant to be worn as sleepwear for women. Often times decorated with ruffles or lace trim and it may or may not have straps.

Bra - a women's undergarment consisting of two cups which partially or completely cover the breasts for support. |

Bustier - A support garment, similar to a bra. They usually come with detatchable straps or strapless. The garment's length normally runs anywhere from just below the rib cage to the hips or waist.

Camisole - A female undergarment covering the top portion of the body. It is a sleeveless, tight-fitting garment usually made of satin or silk.

Chemise - A short female garment designed to wear under a dress. Designed similar to a camisole, but longer. While designed to be worn under clothing, it can also be worn as outerwear with jeans, or as sleepwear.

Corset - A structured, form fitting support garment usually covering the bust to hip. Many corsets will lace up and contain flexible boning for extra shaping. They usually close with hooks and eyes, or laces, in back.

G String - A thin piece of material, usually with a string like band that runs between the legs and is then attached to a waist band.

Garter - An item of clothing worn around the thigh, normally a few inches in width. Garters are often times adorned with small bows or ribbons and are traditionally used to hold up stockings.

Pantie hose - (A.K.A. Pantyhose or tights [U.K.]) Tight coverings that fit from the waist to the feet. Much like stockings, they are usually made of nylon.

Pantie - Underpants for women or children.

Stocking - Tight covering that fits from the foot to the lower part of the leg or the thigh. Usually made of nylon or silk, and often worn with garters.

Teddie - (A.K.A. Teddy) An undergarment combining a camisole and panty in one piece, similar to a bodysuit. However, a teddie is usually more sheer and is slipped off from the shoulders.

Thong - A thin piece of material (thicker than a G String) that runs between the legs and is then attached to a waist band.
